It is our great pleasure to invite you cordially to participate in the International Conference “Frontiers in Chemistry, Armenia” (ArmChemFront 2018), organized jointly between the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, and Yerevan State University, Armenia.

ArmChemFront will take place in Yerevan, Armenia, from October 21-25, 2018. The first edition of this conference in 2013 was the first chemistry symposium to be held in Armenia to cover chemistry as a broad field and was initiated to reenergise chemical research and science education in this part of the world. Following the success of that event and spurred on by the enthusiastic feedback we still get from the participants of that meeting, a second edition will now be organized. The conference will be an excellent platform to exchange new ideas and to discuss recent developments in diverse aspects of chemistry, and will be comprised of the following themes: Synthetic transformations, Catalysis, Chemical Biology, Materials Science, Supramolecular, Photoredox and Organometallic chemistry.

Renowned plenary and keynote speakers will present overviews of recent developments. In addition to plenary and invited lectures, the scientific program will be complemented by contributed lectures as well as poster presentations. We especially encourage young chemists to use this unique opportunity to present their latest exciting results as oral and poster communications, to network and establish new contacts.
